ARE YOU INTERESTED IN ETHICALLY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES?

The Waterloo Region Social Purchasing Portal is conducting a two minute survey to determine the level of interest that businesses have in ethical business practices.

By providing feedback, you will assist us with formulating strategies on how we can develop such practices.

Being an Ethically Responsible Business is about managing your business to achieve both commercial and social benefits. In essence, it's about managing your ECONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL and SOCIAL impacts to help you improve results, reduce risks and enhance your reputation. It is also about growing your business in a way that has value for everyone connected to it.

COMPLETE OUR SURVEY by the end of May 2009 and you are eligible to WIN A PRIZE FROM ECO CAFE VALUED UP TO $200

We are very pleased with our new website. REM Web Solutions did a wonderful job in assessing and addressing our needs. The SPP is alive and well here in Waterloo Region.

We are also happy to anounce that the Region of Waterloo agreed to purchase from our member suppliers. This means that 80 Regional departments will look to the SPP when making purchases of $5000 and under (per purchase) as long as the price is competive and the goods are of equal quality. We are looking forward to seeing an increase in our quarterly purchaser reports.
