HOW IT WORKS

The Waterloo Region Social Purchasing Portal (SPP) is a network for socially-conscious businesses and organizations that collaborate for the purpose of business growth and employment generation. This results in a healthier and wealthier community. They increase their profile as a community-focused and socially responsible organization at no added cost by signing on to the Portal as Purchasers, Suppliers and Employment Service Providers. 

The Social Purchasing Portal idea originated in Vancouver and their SPP continues to be a tremendous success. Several SPPs are now located across Canada.  For more information on SPP Canada and links to other SPPs follow this link:

THE PARTNERS:

1. Purchasers give priority to Portal Suppliers and are able to connect with them through the Portal. Every transaction     has social value that helps build the community.
